Feel Naked Without Your Watch?
The new clock at Hidden Beach, generously donated by Ron and Nancy, hangs proudly above the bar, a calming reference point for Hidden's antsy clock watchers. Mind you, it's not the sort of clock by which you can carefully plan the day's activities, rather one that liberates you from the constraints of social drudgery. Feel free to substitute your usual cup of Joe with a cerveza or strawberry daiquiri, because at Hidden Beach it's always 5 o'clock.
Guest Perspecives
Overheard during volleyball in the pool…
"I just got everything waxed, so I have dolphin-like agility."
- Laura, Illinois
I bought SPF 60 for the parts less familiar with the sun and SPF 30 for those already well-acquainted.
- Cathy, Oklahoma
Most people will tell you it's all about the people or the great weather or the beach, but I'll be honest. It's about beer, food and nakedness. Are you making a note of that? Beer, 2 Es, food 2 Os and Nakedness, 2 Ss.
- Kevin, Arizona
Worth Donning Duds
Every day a thoroughly competitive and somewhat haphazard (largely due to the bar acting as the court boundary) volleyball game goes down in the Hidden Beach pool. The popular afternoon activity is always good fun for players and spectators alike. There is, however, another volleyball grudge match that plays out every Friday on the beach volleyball court of the neighboring resort. Although lesser known, this clashing of the normally nude titans with the typically textile guests from El Dorado Seaside Suites is well worth throwing on shorts and a tank top.
What Are You Waiting For?
April is the perfect time to visit Hidden Beach! All month long activities and entertainment will center around one of the most exuberant celebrations on the planet, Carnival.
Remember: Taking it off is easy to do. Start with the hat then go for the shoes. Off comes the shirt and down come the pants, do away with the rest and you're set to relax!
Naturally yours,

A Taste of Hidden
Tropical Melon Ball
When asked for March's most popular drink, Hidden's charming and talented bartender, Carlos Castillo, whipped up this yummy little tropical sensation. By the way, I've promised him fame and fortune for sharing his secret recipe, so go ahead and ask for his autograph. What? You don't have a piece of paper or a t-shirt? I'm sure he'll be willing to improvise.
To make the divine Tropical Melon Ball, toss a few large chunks of refreshing honeydew melon into a blender along with some ice. Add equal parts citrus flavored vodka and Midori (melon liquor), a squeeze of lemon or lime and mix to your preferred potency with sprite. Blend well and enjoy!
