A rather off the cuff Spanish guessing game for those crazy enough or drunk enough to want to participate…
Question of the Month:
How do you say "cheeks", as in the ones not found on your face, in Spanish?
HB Guests' Answers:
Reario endo (I hate to be the one to have to dispel the myth that Spanish is the same as English, but with an "O" on the end, but…
Butto (Don't make me repeat myself.)
Derrierio (O.k., now you're just pushing my buttons.)
Glúteo Máximo (This, however, is an exception…the myth applies.)
Cheeks Magnificos (Hmmm, the magnificos part is right, providing they are in fact magnificent, and in your case HB News contributor (and you know who you are) yes they are!
Los Globos (This could very well be the correct term for balloon-like buttocks that sing La Bamba)
The answer:
There are actually many correct answers to this question as the latin cultures tend to truly admire this part of the female form. "Pompas" or "pompies", "bum bum" (pronounced "boom boom"), "bote", "trasero", "cola", "nachas", "glúteo máximo" are among the many options. However, please use caution when practicing any of these terms. Your boss, grandmother and parole officer are just a sampling of the long list of people who may not appreciate your comments. Nevertheless…
Use it, love it, spread the word!
April is a divine time to visit Hidden Beach, come let the warm spring breezes caress your skin and melt your stress away.
Remember: If you're planning on hiding your Easter eggs, Hidden Beach isn't the place to do it.
Naturally yours,

A Taste of Hidden

Sha-la-la-la
Please feel free to add as many "las" as you like. The more you drink the more there will likely be. I like 7 or so. This delightful cocktail/martini may have spawned from the dark side, but don't we all have a thing for bad boys?
ice
½ oz. Brandy
Maraschino cherry
½ oz. Blue Curacao
½ oz. Banana liquor
1 oz. Milk
To prepare the Sha-la-la-la, first add brandy and a cherry, then combine Blue Curacao with a splash of moo in a shaker and shake, shake, shake. Pour the mixture delicately over top of the brandy (into a spoon held against the side of the glass is easiest). Then add the banana liquor and another splash of milk into the shaker and once again get shakin'! Repeat the delicate pouring process and voila, lovely layers and marvelous flavors! And yes, for goodness sake, stir well before drinking!
