Guest Perspectives
At Hidden Beach the first time is seldom the last time. Thank you to one of our guests for sharing her impression of her first visit, hopefully it reminds you of yours.
It was my first time at an Au Naturel resort. I was a bit apprehensive about it. I am totally comfortable on a nude beach. But, this is a different cup of tea. As it turns out, we were very sad to leave. Everything we had read about the resort was true! The staff knew us by name within a few days. They were all very attentive and friendly. Everyone was very respectful, guests and staff alike.
I was enchanted from the moment we checked in. The reception staff was wonderful. The rooms and resort were beautiful. We quickly settled in with our selection of robes to wear. Our first meal was wonderful. Not having to worry about your wallet or what to wear to dinner is great! It made me more comfortable that most people selected some sort of robe or cover when seated in the dining area. There were many options.
We loved the small, intimate nature of this resort with the easy going pace and laid back atmosphere. It was very relaxing. There were just enough activities to keep us entertained if we wanted to be. Water volleyball every afternoon was a highlight with relaxation and gabbing with others in the hot tub afterwards. The camaraderie was wonderful. We really felt like we made some great new friends during our stay. We were very sad to leave.
The atmosphere is very intimate and friendly. We will definitely make a return visit to Hidden Beach.

Hidden Beach Happenings
It's rather funny how things just happen at Hidden. One sunny afternoon not too long ago a guest appeared with a bag of rubber duckies and a frozen-water-filled duckie-flinging riot broke out in the pool.
So, when a group of 10 - 15 guests gathered poolside, one with a golf club in hand, it was obvious that something was going down. Adrift at the far side of the pool was Harry, a charming and rather brave young member of the entertainment team, holding a green kidney-shaped matt which served as a green. For safety's sake, a wiffle ball took the place of your run of the mill hard dimpled sort (are we still talking about golf balls?) and guests lined up to tee off!
What Are You Waiting For?
January is the perfect time to visit Hidden Beach! If releasing stress, making new friends, taking time to enjoy life, appreciating yourself or trying something new are among your resolutions, Hidden Beach just might be the best way to kick of the new year!
Remember: Welcoming the New Year is always a hoot when you're livin' it up in your birthday suit!

A Taste of Hidden

The Mayan Riviera
The bar at Hidden Beach is not only a popular place to meet new friends; it's a great place to indulge in a bevy of tropical cocktails and cervezas!
A favorite among those who favor the fruity is The Mayan Riviera. Mix one up at home to evoke the smile-sportin' spirit of Hidden Beach.
Start with ice ice baby! Then add a shot of Midori melon liquor, followed by a shot of vodka. Then, ever so delicately, nearly fill the remainder of the glass with OJ before topping it off with luscious strawberry daiquiri mix.
*Tip from a guest who knows his way around a bar - To create layers, as in the picture, pour each ingredient slowly into a spoon held just above the last layer.
