The Calm Before the M.O.A.P.
Visiting Hidden Beach days before M.O.A.P. is a curious thing, much like the calm before the storm. “How many rooms?” I ask. “About 30,” replies the Concierge. “We’ve got 6 or so coming tomorrow, then 10 the next day then about 10 more.” “Are we ready?” I inquire. We both laugh. Not to say that we aren’t, just a nervous giggle shared over the absolute absurdity of trying to be thoroughly prepared for an event full of Rowdys!
Welcome to all of you and let the Mother of All Parties begin!!!

Wilder Cituk Chuc
Did you know that those of Mayan ancestry are generally rather small in stature? At nearly 6 feet, his height is just one of many things that make this Hidden Beach waiter exceptional. And yes, he does play basketball.
The next point to address would be his name. Consider that “Cituk” and “Chuc” are typical sounding Mayan names; now contemplate
how very unique the Wilder must be. And no, he’s not sure of why his parents chose it for him.
Prior to working at Hidden Beach, Wilder studied gastronomy and hotel management and hopes to one day have his very own restaurant. In the meantime, he loves his job at Hidden Beach and feels fortunate to work in a place where he has the chance to learn guests’ names.
When Wilder’s not hard at work, he likes to go to the beach with his wife, two-year-old son and his Dalmatian puppy Estrella (star).
He and his wife also enjoy horror movies. Interestingly enough, the combination of these two activities has led to a little anxiety
for Wilder. Once home from the beach, he heads for the shower. His wife waits until he least suspects it, then throws aside the curtain
and lets loose a blood curdling shriek, scaring the beejeebers out of poor Wilder. No wonder he says he’s too timid to take his
clothes off!
