Greetings from Hidden Beach - The World's Only 5 Star, Gourmet Inclusive, Clothing Optional Resort. "Clothed when practical, nude when appropriate."
It Was a Stark and Stormy Night
Cardboard cut-outs of skeletons dangled outside suites. In the afternoon, a Jack-o-Lantern carving demonstration was the impetus behind the sacrifice of several innocent Pumpkins. Who says Halloween in a tropical paradise can't be terrifying?
Of course the real revelry commenced under the cloak of darkness (hee, hee even darkness let's you party under his cloak on Halloween at Hidden Beach). The evening's activities began with a ghoulish gourmet dinner at the Moonlight Lounge followed by a few creepy cocktails. Soon after, Radio Active Toy started the party rocking.
Guests managed to bare all and still dress up in tremendously creative costumes. A costume contest rewarded particularly fabulous get ups with gift certificates for spa services and Moonlight Dinners.
Drinking and monster mashing continued into the wee hours of the night and guests awoke Saturday morning to utterly horrific hangovers.
Dreams
Dance, gymnastics and acrobatics combine to create Dreams, Hidden's new and electrifying evening show. A mix of new age and electronic music sets the show to motion and the performer's metallic costumes glisten in the colored light. Dreams is an incredible demonstration of strength and grace that leaves audiences mesmorized and wanting more.
See Dreams for yourself every Sunday evening at Hidden Beach.

"I wouldn't compare myself to Tom Cruise," says Carlos, "but I really liked the movie Cocktail." In fact the movie inspired him to become a bartender in a resort disco. With music thumping and more than 500 people to serve he learned how to sling drinks and survive the nightshift.
Then came Hidden Beach. "It's completely different:" he says, "I get the chance to really meet people and they actually remember me!" He pulls a coil notepad from his pocket and explains, "I like to take note of guests' names and favorite drinks, so when they return I can serve them what they like right away. For example one repeat guest only drinks Black Label and I make sure it is always here for him when he arrives. Another likes to drink espresso with 43 over ice, so when she comes I don't even have to ask."
On his day off this 26-year-old father of two spends time with his wife and two sons. Sometimes they go to McDonalds, the kids love it there. Other times he just relaxes and watches soccer on TV.
Although he hesitates to say he would enjoy a vacation in the buff, Carlos had no trouble adjusting to his Au Naturel work place. "It's funny," he says, "It's like people's nakedness becomes their clothes. Each person is a different shape, size and color, so it's almost like they are sporting different shades and styles."
