Incidentally, these charming folks are not the negociators.

Hidden Beach is located on the beatiful Mayan Riviera, just one hour south of Cancun. www.hiddenbeachresort.com |
Blue Floaty Things
The green floaty things were a big hit, but it appears the blue floaty things have surpassed them in popularity. In recent negotiations with one persistent and hilarious Hidden Beacher, a night of elicit "you know what" was offered up to a member of our fine wait staff in exchange for one. Was the deal sealed? The word on the beach is no, but I can't help but notice that Angel (the waiter in question) has been in a particularly good mood ever since.
Further information pending Hidden's next inventory count…
Halloween at Hidden:
All Thrills, No Chills
Assless chaps are one option (Aren't all chaps assless?), but surely we can come up with something more original. In past years Hidden Beach guests have proven that they are the black cat's meow when it comes to creativity. So, don't forget to stow away a little something scary if you will be visiting Hidden this Halloween. Keep in mind the temperatures are bound to be balmy, so feel free to adorn rather than cover.
Guest Perspectives
So my wife says, "It's just a little hot wax…no big deal."
-Ryan
I'm not a morning person, unless I'm here.
-Margot
Following a smug comment about his somewhat flat derrier…
Response: Doesn't bother me if I can't see it.
Retort: That's the whole problem, neither can we!
-Rob & Friends
I couldn't be happier. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and I'm in love!
-Lila
If clothes make the man, I guess we're all up shirt creek without a paddle.

What Are You Waiting For?
October is a splendid time to visit Hidden Beach. Forget the onset of winter's chill and celebrate Halloween at Hidden Beach, it's twice the thrill!
Remember: Albeit quite basic, Hidden Beach fashion is never a bore. Simply put - less is more.
Happy 40th and a ½ anniversary to Terry and my informant, Rob from Michigan! We hope to see you again very soon.
Naturally yours,
Regan Hook
Taste of Hidden
The Frozen Margarita
Much more than a drink, the Margarita is the Latin word for pearl and the Spanish word for daisy. Whether you like it shaken or frozen, strawberry flavored or the traditional lime, salt-rimmed for sipping or with a silly straw for slurping, few will dispute that no other beverage cools you off and conjures up sweet sueños of Mexico like a Margarita.
ice
1 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. lime juice
2 oz. tequila
1 tsp. coarse salt
lime wedge
Add the above ingredients into a blender and hit turbo! For a salt-rimmed glass, pour salt into a saucer, moisten the rim of the glass with the lime wedge and then dip the rim into the salt. Now pour the contents of the blender into the glass and let the fiesta begin!
