Greetings from Hidden Beach - The World’s Only 5 Star, Gourmet Inclusive, Clothing Optional Resort. “Clothed when practical, nude when appropriate.”
Viva Mexico !
On September 15th, Hidden guests celebrated the Mexican “Dia de Independencia”, enjoying an evening of food, fun and TEQUILA! Dia de Independencia festivities are held throughout the Republic and the world to celebrate Mexico’s independence from Spanish rule. The celebration at Hidden Beach kicked off with a tequila welcome, guests then enjoyed a special get-together dinner before participating in a traditional Mexican lottery (a bingo like game using pictures rather than numbers). The evening show featured traditional Mexican dances and the celebration was rounded out by El Grito (the cry of independence). Across the nation, this patriotic tradition is led by mayors, governors and the president himself yelling the praises of the country, while Mexicans and those who love Mexico reply to their shouts with a resounding VIVA!
Nothing Blows Like Putting On Clothes
With the arrival of Hurricane Dean, some guests ended their vacations a little sooner than planned and headed home, while others opted for a transfer to the El Dorado Royale to enjoy the rest of their vacation. Of course this did entail re-entering the world of the textile, so we would like to thank them for their tolerance and understanding and we hope very much that they enjoyed the time they spent there.
Dean did very little damage, but there was wind and with wind comes waves and with waves comes sand. So, for the final week of July and first week of September, Hidden Beach staff pitched in to make the beach a little less ample, removing it from the pool area and hauling it back to the shore where it belongs.
Although no one welcomed the news of Dean, a few of the finer details of Hidden Beach have improved as a result. The Moonlight Disco has new curtains, the hot dog stand has shade and the pool has new tiles.
Now that Hidden has re-opened and is happily welcoming guests again, we would like to thank you for sending us your kind thoughts, wishing us well and expressing concern for the safety of our employees and their families.

Karla Karina
Maldonado Peñaloza
Perfectly comfortable in her own skin, Karla Maldonado radiates friendliness and enthusiasm with every step. This 23 year old from Querétaro (located 3 hours from Mexico City) found her way to the Mayan Riviera in search of adventure. As director of Hidden Beach entertainment, she has certainly found it.
“I have fun all day long!” she says. It is undeniable that her go-with-the-flow attitude and easy smile indicate that she feels right at home at Hidden. Would she enjoy a vacation in the buff? She hasn’t yet, but says she would definitely do it, speculating that nude vacationers have more fun because they not only leave behind the routine and monotony, but also their clothes!
This down to earth girl lists being happy, good health, family, and love among the most important things in life. She likely has the latter in mind when she selects Brad Pitt as the guest she would most like to see at Hidden Beach.
Even if you are not Brad, count on a warm welcome from Karla on your next visit.
